Hi, thank you for visiting my website!

Md. Aslam Beg Akash

I'm a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh.

I'm particularly interested in understanding how materials behave, deform, and fail, and I've explored these questions through computational simulations and experiments. I enjoy the part of research that calls for patience, whether that means working through a difficult problem, trying different approaches, or figuring out why something works or doesn't.

This website features a selection of my research projects, technical work, and other experiences.

Research interests

  • Computational mechanics of materials
  • Fracture and damage mechanics
  • Composite materials and interfaces
  • Bioinspired and architected materials
  • Additive manufacturing
  • Machine learning for materials

These interests reflect my research experience and the questions I am currently exploring. I am also open to new research directions and eager to learn the methods and skills needed to contribute.
